Here in Central NY when it is sunny and 61* on March 7th it calls for celebration! When I get home at 5pm I am heading out in my sneakers and taking a walk! There will be no stopping me!
Last night I finished knitting Pipp’s pin cushion (that will look like a pumpkin when felted)
This of course is NOT the orange one….. this is the one that I made before.
Then I laid in bed early this morning deciding what I was going to do next while waiting for my needles to come in from Knitpicks. Last night I thought I was going to make some felted baby slippers but I mulled that around in my coffee debrived morning head and decided that I did not want to make them right now. So I turned to another pattern by Pipp – a coffee cup cozy.
Something that will work up fast, use my tons of scraps of wool and will keep me happy till my needles come. You will have to see the adventures of Kathy knitting Cat’s mobius magic when the needles finally arrive. That should spark my blog entries up! Mostly filling my entries with frustration and tears!!! Sigh.
So, as soon as I get done with work, go home and take my walk, feed the felines, feed the humans, bond with the hedgehogs…….. I will finally sit and knit for a few mintues. At least long enough to get a couple rows started. I really need to work on trying to stay up later so I can have more knitting time! In the winter the months are so dark and long and depressing I start going to bed early just to bring the dark day to an end. Now we are about to go into daylight savings time and the days will get longer. I have to get my brain to change it’s way of thinking so I can get more knitting time in!
