So, when I sorted and stored all my wool last summer I just labeled big tubs with “wool” , “sock yarn”, “finished projects” etc. Sounds good right? No. Here’s why.
Last night I started yet another knitting project (Pipp’s Coffee cozy) and I remembered in my tub of wool I had enough wool in those scraps to make this small project. Went upstairs, dug around in the tub, found a big hunk of wool and ran back down stairs and knit till the silly thing is almost done!
The more I worked on the project the more doubt I had that it is really 100% wool. I was getting mad at myself for NOT labeling the wool I tossed in that tub. If this does not felt when I am all done, I have no one to blame but myself.
It is a quick project so I will have it finished by tonight I am sure.
I am about to go ahead and order my knitpick needles. I was holding out thinking Chris would send in another order, but she said she is not . That is okay, now I just will go ahead and do it. I will have to pay the postage.
That is what I am ordering from Knitpicks. I love their needles! I can’t afford Addi (those are my faves) so this is the second best for me. I know my friend Chris doesn’t like them but I don’t have any complaints.
Pouring rain and I would love to be home knitting. Oh well.
