On Monday I took a picture of what I started to work on, therefore, that is my Wednesday work in progress presented on Monday. Trying to keep this blog consistant, I DO have lots of WIP in my head, so I thought I would share them.
Kathy B (whose blog I follow http://irisheyesknitters.blogspot.com/) suggested these Ginny Socks (found for free at Ravelry)as a lovely starter cable sock when I shared that I want to have a cable adventure.
What a lovely simple looking cable. I just LOVE the look of cables and I LOVE all things Celtic – so I need to master this cable thingy so I can make lots of Celtic looking socks!!!
The next project in my head is hedgehog related. You are going to just melt when you see them! Ready?
They are for children, but I hope I can make them large enough for the adult child that lives in me!!!!! These are called Poky Hedgehog Mittens and can also be found on Ravelry.
Summer seems to be flying right by – and here I sit at work. The heat is reported to be coming back to visit us on Friday and Saturday – thinking of ways to stay cool and what I want to sip on the deck!
I posted this picture on one of the forums I am in (Socks with Sandals) on Ravelry and shared my maiden voyage of my toeless/flip flop socks.
It was cool and rainy yesterday. Took them off by the end of the day because the sun came out and warmed/dried things up.
