Yesterday we put our daughter on a plane to Arizona for a couple weeks to visit a college friend of hers. We got her out of the Northeast just in time. We are now currently under a tornado watch till 9pm. I would be a total wreck worrying about her flying under these conditions! God is good.
In all my nervousness about sending my girl on a plane (okay, she’s 24 and I just don’t want to let her grow up) I finished my sock!
I tried to get them to match, realized I didn’t pick the right spot to start the second sock and then just kept going – they don’t have to match right?
I am in between socks waiting for my second Cat Bordhi book to make my decision as to what sock I am going to do out of which book. So while I wait I am knitting……… (don’t laugh) dish clothes! I am trying to do ones that teach me knew stitches, technics etc. You can’t go wrong – they always make nice gifts. Do you have a favorite one?
Someone from my high school class posted this photo on facebook and I thought it would be funny to show you. I am in the second row – third one in with the white headband. I want you to know that my second daughter looks JUST LIKE ME (shhhhh, don’t tell her – she would hate that!).
There you have it. I would say this photo was taken in the mid to late 1960’s. I am a hippy and proud of it!
